The Pyramid Of Protection

Dark-Hunter - They kill the blood/soul drinkers. Some can also drink blood themselves; feeders. They have sold their soul to Artemis, for a Single Act Of Vengeance. They are made soulless so that they can sneak up on their Daimon prey. Example: Acheron Parthenopaeus.

Dream-Hunter - They are born of the Gods, not made of human.

Were-Hunter - They are half human, half Apollite. Some are slayers. They have the ability to walk through time, space, and some even dreams.

Species

Daimon - Blood/soul drinkers. Some also steal dreams. Originally Apollites, they began to drink blood/souls to increase their life span.

Apollite - Created when Apollo and a Nymph slept together. They began a war to destroy humankind, which Apollo was fine with, until the Apollites killed his human mistress. He then banished them forever from his sight, to live until their 27th birthday, which they would then die a horrible death within 24 hours. The only way for them to live is to steal the soul from a human, by drinking their blood.

Slayer - They destroy for the sake of destruction.

Shade - What becomes of a Dark-Hunter, who has died before they could retreave their souls from Artemis. Some have become Shades in the process of receiving their souls, some other's killed in the line of duty.
